In the DE version i transported a priest, converted izumo leader and then made him battle the crocodile kings

It's probably standard, but my method was 3 towers at home base, lots of vill on food and stone. Use horse to destroy 2 brown catapults. Make new TC at South East where there is stone and wood and deer. Collect wood/stone, 3 more towers, wall to funnel. Make workshops. Once built up some siege, build towers at red to distract. Bring siege too. Destroy enough towers, focus wonder, new TC at little gold, then destroy all of red. New TC at big gold. Tower the south river, build docks, create some ships - juggernaut probably best. Create 10 cats or whatever you want really. Clear path with ships and transport troops/siege, easy wonder kill. Not sure if brown tributes, but when I attacked from the north at yellow, they had 50,000 elephant archers lol I so want to squash them with a lot of siege

i have a bug in this mission, it doesn´t count captured runes so mission can´t be completed:/

The barracks takes a while to destroy. Seeing as they have so many villagers, you can rze the houses and then they cannot build more clubmen, leaving you time to destroy the barracks.

I have the collectors edition and the mission there is way harder than the one you play here. I've played on moderate and tried to do the same procedure as you did, but brown just won't stop attacking. I can send the villagers and a slinger towards the yellow, but I either get interrupted by brown or the yellow has too many clubmen. I'm able to win but it takes about over an hour to do so though.

I came from watching the video from 8 years ago, where you can only hear the towers shooting!

I kept trying this level thinking heavy cavalry was the best strategy but I will go back and try this catapult/horse archer strategy. I wasn't even close before. I also wasted resources researching coinage but I see you just paid the premium for tribute without it. Such a tough mission.

I think this mission is bugged. The hints say you will be attacked from all sides, but the reds never train any units and once their few villagers die they do nothing.

Here in 2024. That was tense.

I've only play the first 3 aoe: aoe 1, aoe 2 and aom. For a long time aom was my favorite, but after understanding better the mechanics, aoe 1 is my favorite. I don't know if i had a modded version but, i find out that if i press the "." button, it do direct me to unocupied villagers and fishers. I used to have my CD but i don't know what i did to it. So i download it from internet.
